One Big Night

Middlesbrough came together for One Big Night of fun.  Working in partnership with Middlesbrough Council and BBC Tees We Do Marketing were commissioned to deliver marketing support, event management and PR.

One Big Night was an open invitation to the public to come into the town to sample what’s on offer, from food and drink to entertainment, retail therapy and culture.  We Do was an integral part of the project team, bringing together a number of retailers, restaurants and other participants, promoting the event and managing the media schedule.

Many of the town’s key retailers and eateries took part and the inaugural event was a roaring success. The town’s renowned modern art gallery mima also featured an exclusive one-off exhibition and a number of high profile businesses including Psyche, Sassari, Joe Rigatoni’s, House of Fraser and Contemporary….supported the night.

Psyche owner Steve Cochrane said: “We were delighted to come on board and lend support to One Big Night - I think it’s a great idea to bring the town together for one night”.
